[edit] Barrie Kinsmen & Direct Energy Holding 2nd Annual Gabriels Golf Day

Gabriels Golf Day was originally held in 2008 by Marc Dube, with support from the Barrie Kinsmen and many other organizations. The proceeds from the tournament went to support Marc in the purchase of an air purification system for his home. Marcs daughter Gabriel was diagnosed with CF at 16 months old. She is now 3 years old and growing well.  Marc joined that Barrie Kinsmen last year after his golf tournament, and decided he would like to keep the golf tournament going as a tribute to his daughter, and to help more others in the Barrie area. This year half of the profits will be donated to CF, while the other half will go towards helping a family in need.

The tournament will be held at The Wilds at Cedar Valley Golf Course and costs $50.00 per person, $200.00 per four some, or $250.00 for a hole sponsorship and forewome. The cost includes 18 holes of golf, a BBQ dinner, prizes, and a free golf shirt for anyone who signs up before September 12th. There will also be a silent auction for a variety of sports collectables, a 50/50 draw, and prize table draw. Hole sponsorships are $50.00. To register for the golf tournament or sponsor a hole please e-mail mdube@barriekinsmen.ca.

Thany you to Direct Energy for all the help you are giving us, and for being the title sponsor of Gabriels Golf Day.
