The Brampton/Bramalea Kinsmen Club is one of 500 clubs across Canada that is members of Kin Canada. We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday at the Streetsville Kinsmen Seniors Hall at 327 Queen Street in Streetsville, jointly with the Mississauga and Streetsville Clubs, at the dinner meetings we have lot of fun and fellowship and run meetings to Parliamentary Procedures and where members learn the Art of Public Speaking and debate.

We have a few fundraising projects, but we have several projects where we help various causes and Charities with manpower and funds.

Among the charities:
We partner with William Osler Centre, where we have donated over $ 130,000.00 over the last 20 years. Last year at the new Brampton Civic Hospital Kinsmen were honored, when they named a waiting room in the memory of late Kin James Pinnell. Kin Jim was an avid supporter of the hospital.

[edit] Peel Manor

We are also partners/supporters of Peel Manor - long term care facility for seniors, where we are always there to help with Bingos, gifts and other projects. We donated $ 30,000.00 to help build a therapeutic garden for the enjoyment of the residents.

Other causes we support include Cystic Fibrosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association - Send a child to Camp, make a wish Foundation, food banks and several children’s sports teams.

We do not shirk away from any cause; we will almost always find a way to help

We are looking for new volunteer members to join us, have fun and participate in many worthwhile causes and make a difference in someone’s life.

Our motto after all is to Serve The Communities Greatest Needs.
