[edit] Rules and Scoring

  • Each team will play three 6 end games.
  • Any ties will use the following closest to the "Button" format to decide the winner:

- A player will be chosen from each team to deliver one stone.
- The first player delivers their stone and it will be measured then removed before the second stone is delivered.
- The second player will then deliver his/her stone and compared to the first.
- The closest to the button wins IF it is within the rings.
- IF both players fail to remain on the rings then alternate players on each team will repeat the process.
- A tie win does NOT count as a end won but the team does receive 10 points for the win.

  • Scoring will be the SUM of the following after each game:

- The total teams score of the game and that is divided in half.
- The number of ends won equals one point.
- Any end with no points results in no points assigned to either team.
- The winning team is assigned ten (10) additional points.

  • The overall team winner becomes the host team (and bonspiel organizer) for the following year.
